HAZARD WARNING SYSTEM

The Hazard Warning System (HWS for short) is a basic, easy to consume system made by me to simply assess the potential risk involved

with interacting with certain animals. It is separated into 5 categories; 'Low Risk' (Green), 'Moderate Risk' (Yellow), 'High Risk' (Red), and 'Situational Risk' (Grey) and 'No Risk' (No Symbol). It is worth noting that this list is taking into the account the physical attributes of a healthy adult, and does not account for personal ailments such as allergies, or other pre-existing medical conditions. Please understand that this system only serves as a basic guideline and SHOULD NOT BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ADVICE FROM A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. I am not a doctor. If you have any pre-existing allergies, or medical conditions it is strictly advised against interacting with any animal that has a HWS listing for your own safety. It is also worth noting that you SHOULD NOT interact with ANY  wild animal, especially one you cannot properly identify as this can be hazardous in that of itself.

If you are ever attacked or inured by any animal you are unsure about, please seek medical attention as soon as possible.

(While on a PC, you can hover over the warning markers for a brief explanation of the animal's listing!)
