ABOUT ANNELIDS

Annelids are a group of invertebrates commonly known as 'segmented worms'. They consist of both aquatic and terrestrial worm and leech species.
They share many traits with that of Molluscs such as their soft, almost gelatinous bodies but are dimorphic from this group due to their lack of hard skeleton. The name of this group, refers to their ringed, or segmented bodies which they can move individually to allow locomotion. They also have a singular body cavity, and moveable bristles.

Below you will find a comprehensive list of all the Annelids I have observed in the wild within, and around the Whyalla region.
