ABOUT FISH

Fish are a group of (mostly) fully aquatic, cold-blooded, gill-breathing vertabrates that are commoinly seperated into two different catagories. Those being 'Bony Fish' which contains Fish that have a complete skeletal structure composed of bone tissue which contains most fish, and 'cartilaginous fish' which contains fish with skeletons composed mostly of cartelidge which includes fish such as Sharks and Rays. Fish such as Hagfish, Coelacanth and Lamprey do not fit into either of these categories.

Below you will find a comprehensive list of fish I have observed in the wild around Whyalla and the surrounding regions.
