ABOUT GASTROPODS

Gastropods are a group of Mollusc invertebrates that is made up of by a variety of both freshwater, marine and terrestrial slugs and snails. They are commonly characterised by well defined heads, 2-4 sensory appendages commonly with eyes, and a large muscle known as the 'foot' which servers as the primary method of locomotion and in some cases hunting.

Below you will find a comprehensive list of all the gastropods I have observed in the wild around Whyalla, and its surrounding regions.
