ABOUT MAMMALS

Mammals area a diverse group of animals, consisting of classes such as Marsupials, Canines, Rodents, and even Cetaceans such as Dolphins and Whales. Commonly, they are recognised for their fur. However, they are more accuratley classified for their forward facing eyes, the ability to produce milk and the development of a neocortex region in the brain which allows for higher brain-function. All that considered, makes us Humans mammals too!

Below, you will find a comprehensive list of all the mammals I have observed in the wild around Whyalla and the surrounding region.
