ABOUT MYRIAPODS

Myriapods are a group of completely terrestrial arthropods that are made up of Centipedes and Millipedes. They are classified by their multiple segmented bodies and legs, while still maintaining antennae much like an insect. Myriapods typically get much larger than that of other arthropods, with Australia's largest Myriapod (Giant Scrub Millipede) commonly growing up to 20 centimeters long.

Below you will find a comprehensive list of all the Myriapods I have observed in the wild around Whyalla, and it's surrounding regions.
