ABOUT REPTILES
Reptiles are a class of animals characterised by their rigid scales and cold-blood, and include groups of animals such as Snakes, Lizards, Turtles and Crocodillians. They are commonly found around Australia sunbathing in warm areas during the middle of the day. As mentioned, reptiles are cold-blooded, sunbathing allows them to heat up their metabolsim which reduces the need to allocate energy for temperature regulation which will then allow them to reallocate that energy for use in hunting and other activities.
